"Learning to lead in a technical world"

Mission Statement for the National Association: The Technology Student Association (TSA) enhances personal development, leadership, and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions, and related programs.

At Braden River Middle School we aim to provide TSA students with a chance to further their understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math while gaining valuable leadership and research skills which will open many doors for them in the future. We are a Blue Cap chapter at the State and National level. We compete in a variety of competitions each year. Our TSA team is a family of innovative thinkers!

tsa students compete in 60+ Competitions

We are proud to be panthers!

At Braden River MS our students hold a long list of competition wins. We have excelled in engineering, graphic design, photography, mathematics, science, and much more! More important than the trophies are the opportunities to serve our local community through service projects. We are also proudly supported by many local businesses and families in Manatee County.

Face Shields for Front Line Workers

In response to the Covid pandemic, TSA Advisors and students at BRMS and other middle schools in Manatee County worked together to put our 3D printers to good use. We printed over 1000 face shields for local hospitals, nursing homes, LECOM School of Dentistry, and more.
